i’ve looked everywhere for a good tutorial, but nothing seems to work. if anyone can explain how to do this that would be appreciated. thanks
This needs to be posted in the Help section, not the Tutorial section… Even though I believe this site is slowly dieing from inactivity..
Be more descriptive, what do you mean “get textures for smash with windows 7”?
ikr but this is just for moving the vertex . what i need is adding a costume to the character or a hat. not just moving vertices
well all honesty this site is basically dead since the owner got caught using other peoples work, reason why a lot of stuff has been deleted, and he hasnt bothered messaging or whatever since then, on here.. So, may wanna look for another place for your issue, what I’m kinda doing.
so this is only to move vertices..what can i use to import models and then add to a character? like adding a hat to peach for example. or adding a costume that i downloaded….also how can i add a character like goku on ryu? need help for these thow things pls
time and patience… a lot of time and patience, goku over ryu was a vertex mod, not model swap.. I’ve tried so many times to get a working model over another character yet wouldn’t work, just gonna have to wait til smash 4 modding develops into something a bit better, like how brawl was, since started out as textures, then vertex, then model swapping.
I ADDED a cat hat to peach’s ssbwiiu model. then i rigged it, now it follows the head. all i need now is to put it in the game but i really dont know how to use models from 3DS max to the game. please explain me how to do that.
theirs a tutorial on the site, look in the tutorial section.June 14, 2016 at 9:06 pm in reply to: How to enabled Special Character, like Warioman, Gigabowser, Bomb, Master Hand #163475
So I downloaded the recent patch on Sm4sh, & got Sm4sh explorer working. The problem is that I can only export the files of DLC characters, despite the files for the other characters showing up in the explorer. What do I do?
May wanna retry the dump, or just use U-Wizard. with U-Wizard, gonna need the wii u common key, as well smash 4 title ID and version.
I can’t give you the common key, can just easily google it.
Title ID: 0005000E10144F00 Version: 288
Did you follow the tutorial on how to do it properly?
just in case here you go.June 11, 2016 at 5:08 pm in reply to: I accidentally deleted a costume in sm4sh explorer #163457
what you should of done was right clicked the folder you placed it in, and clicked “remove mod files” it just resets it, and removes any modified files, but deleting, unsure what you need to do.
Any idea how to replace portraits in the CSS? I’ve tried via texture method, but I’m not getting the tmp.gtx file when following the tutorial, any idea what is needed to do?
Okay so I just updated to the newest Smash update. Starting the game normally, everything is fine. But after using the Kernel and SDCafiine bookmarks and then starting the game, the whole console freezes up on the Sm4sh loading screen. How can I fix this?
If you’re using mods related to ver.1.1.5 your console will freeze, you have to update Sm4shExplorer dump files related to the newest game version. either using U-Wizard, or just redump, either or is fine.
I’ve dumped sm4sh to my pc, yet the meta folder and meta.xml file is missing, any idea where I could get a replacement? can’t open Sm4shExplorer because of this.
EDIT: changed the “app.xml” that was located in folder “code” to “meta.xml” and placed it in it’s appropriate folder and now Sm4shExplorer works.
So when trying to smash explorer, I’m just getting this.
and that’s using the mods you included, I was hoping to try editing to see if i could remove a few things to make it safe to use online, or do you have maybe a safe version, which i mean, able to use online without being spotted as “cheating” I’d be thankful. Also, this won’t let me use your Shadow model as well, and that really impressed me, from how it looks.
